TO NOUN MANAGEMENT FROM ALL NOUN STUDENTS!!!
We acknowledge the great development being witnessed in NOUN. Things have stepped up and it is good.
Now what we don't understand is:
THE #NEW_POLICIES THAT SEEM TO BE ANTI-PROGRESSIVE TO STUDENTS ?
Like the new policy that says...👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
You can only register first semester courses for 2021/1 semester.
"If you have second semester courses, you will have to wait till 2021/2 semester to register them".
This new policy is inconvenient to students who have tailored their academic programme as previously scheduled and especially so that NOUN is not a CONVENTIONAL SCHOOL.
Any new policy should rather enhance the system and give robust support to students, instead of otherwise.
Besides, new policy OUGHT give enough room and time to students for adjustment and be informed at least a session ahead.
Sincerely we, particularly the final year students, are deeply distraught with this latest development by NOUN management. hearts and minds.
The New policy will really affect most of students who are in their last semester program ( 400L/2nd ) which means that they can not register for 2021/1 semester program except to wait till October of this year before they can finished their program or to wait till 2022/1 because most of us still have outstanding courses to be register which some of it is 400L/1st semester course and 2nd second semester courses respectively.
Also the New policy will affect the newly admitted Students who are just finished their 100L/1st semester program, because they can only register for 200L/1st semester program in their 100L second semester program which is not in line with NUC protocol and a due process to obtain degree certificate in a reasonable University.
We have no center-initiated WORKSHOP, for example. Neither do we have ROOM to air our grievances.
We have had enough!
We need justice!
We seek a reversion!
